למעשה, לא הפסידה הקבוצה אף משחק בשלבים הקודמים.

NiP, which is currently playing at WEG III, showed high skills thus far, as a matter of fact they haven't lose a single match throughout the event so far.

The fact that they have reached the final stages gives a good reason to interview one of their players - Dennis "walle" Wallenberg

Being in Korea, advices for the AWPer's, who got the bathtub?, happy birthday Dennis :) and more inside....


Ender: hi and thanks for your time. would you please introduce yourself to the few that still don't know you?
walle: Sure thing. My name is still Dennis Wallenberg also known as walle and I'm nowadays 19 years old - turned 19 here in Korea :). I currently live in Luleå, Sweden with my brother Jonathan (miniw).

Ender: how did you caught up with the counter-strike fever in the first place?
walle: It was my cousin who showed me the game in beta 6 or something for the first time. I played off and on for a while on local lans and stuff until I moved to Luleå where I got broadband, which made it possible for me to develop further and start joining some clans.

Ender: what other hobbies or other games that you play besides counter-strike?
walle: I love watching movies and hanging out with friends, i've also started playing some poker the latest months which I enjoy very much. I've got alot of friends from CS who know poker well too (Potti, iLight, Nebb), so I've had some good help on the way :)..

Ender: the swedish scene is probably one of the best if not the best in the world. what makes it like this?
walle: It used to be the best atleast, nowadays all the other countries are catching up and the CS-scene is very even right now. The reason we were ahead for awhile mighta been cuz of our good internet, which made it possible for us to get sort of a head-start on other countries :p.

Ender: let's talk about the hottest issue right now - WEG. how is your staying in Korea? the organizers, games, food, rooms etc....
walle: Korea's great. We're living in a hotel where our rooms are like apartments. We have our praccroom at one floor and two bedrooms on other floors where we have kitchen, washing machine and everything you'd need for staying at a place for this long. I, myself live with ins and zet while Potti and HeatoN have a room for themselves. But it evens out as we got a bathtub and they don't :p. There's a 7-eleven IN the hotel too, so that's kinda sweet. The food here in Korea is good too, Korean BBQ is really good and then there's of course the usual stuff such as Burger King, McDonalds, Subway or you can just buy some noodles at 7-eleven. The tournament area is great too, it's the best i've been to so far and it's really cool that the games are broadcasted on TV. We like to watch our games when they're re-run afterwards.

Ender: NiP got their tickets to Beijing and doing that without loosing a single game, how do you think you did it? share the secret with us :)
walle: We've been playing alot and trying to improve whatever's been flawed earlier in our game and it has been working out great for us. There's no real secret about it, we've just played alot and we're starting to get our game together simply. We're having alot of fun outside the game too, which is really important for a team as all of us enjoy playing and improving with each other.

Ender: a day in a gamer life while playing at the WEG in Korea :) tell me about a typical day like that.
walle: We usually wake up kinda late, like 16:00-18:00 and just sit down by the computers, usually have some kind of walkthrough on some map and then pracc atleast 2 practice games or more. We're usually done by 12 or later, so everyone will just do whatever they feel like. Potti will play some poker, I might too, or me ins and zet will play some dota or watch some series :P. When we don't pracc we might sleep even longer and just chill all day, maybe go out and have a good time eating some Korean BBQ.

Ender: how do you and the rest of the team prepares for the finals?
walle: As we've done for every match now, we're gonna practice alot and have some good walkthroughs on all the maps.

Ender: what's next for NiP after the WEG?
walle: We're going to CPL winter.

Ender: you had...hmmmm...lets call it an issue with WEG managment due to the fact you did'nt participated at the last season and giving a very short notice about it. was it a problem to "get you in" this time?
walle: That was only a rumour which was blown up.

Ender: on the same matter, what is the legal situation between you and mTw?
walle: No comment :O

Ender: moving to more happy subject....you were chosen as one of the best AWP PLAYER in sweden by fragbite.any tips for the "young" awpers?
walle: AWPing is nothing else then pure practice. To be in good shape with the AWP you have to play alot. Tips for improving your AWP is playing some aim_map vs bots, just practicing fastzoom/nozoom and your dragshots, then putting it into action in praccs/mixes/matches to get used to the match environment. Just cuz you hit shots vs bots doesn't mean you'll hit them in matches, you have to practice both.

Ender: you've been playing for NiP for over 6 months now. in few words describe what it's like to play for such an organization.
walle: I feel very good about NiP, I love the team, we're having a great time and the organisation is really great too. Really good guys and still very professional, the perfect mix!

Ender: some quick Q & A

- your favourite team? LuLAN
- your favourite map? nuke
- ESWC Vs. CPL - which one would you prefer to attend next? CPL
- if VALVE will decide to drop one weapon from CS which one would you prefer that they will disable? Hehe, I dunno.. The glock? :) .. even tho it's one of my favourte weapons :p.

Ender: היי ותודה על שהתפנית בשבילי. תוכל בבקשה להציג את עצמך למיעוט מהקוראים שעוד לא מכיר אותך?
walle: אין בעיה. שמי הוא עדיין דניס וולנברג הידוע גם כ - walle ואני בן 19 בימים אלה - הגעתי לגיל 19 כאן בקוריאה :) אני כרגע גר בלולאו, שבדיה עם אחי יונתן (miniw).

Ender: כיצד נתפסת בקדחת הקאונטר סטרייק מלכתחילה?
walle: בן דוד שלי הראה לי את המשחק בגירסא בטא 6 או משהו כזה לראשונה. שיחקתי מדי פעם בלאנים מקומיים עד שעברתי ללולאו שם התחברתי לפס רחב, שנתן לי את האפשרות להתפחתח ולצטרף לקלאנים.

Ender: אלו תחביבים אחרים או משחקים אחרים את המשחק מעבר לקאונטר סטרייק?
walle: אני אוהב לראות סרטים ולבלות עם החברים. כמו כן התחלתי לשחק קצת פוקר בחודשים האחרונים ואני ממש נהנה. יש לי הרבה חברים מהקאונטר סטרייק שיודעים פוקר טוב (potti, iLight, Nebb) אז היתה לי עזרה טובה :)..

Ender: הסצינה השבדית היא מבין הטובות בעולם אם לא הטובה ביותר. מה עושה אותה לכזאת?
walle: היא נהגה להיות הטובה ביותר. כעת כל המדינות האחרות מדביקות פערים והסצינה די מאוזנת. הסיבה שהובלנו היא אולי בגלל האינטרנט הטוב אצלנו. מה שאיפשר לנו להשיג יתרון לעומת המדינות האחרות.

Ender: בוא נדבר על הנושא החם ביותר כרגע - WEG. איך השהות שלכם בקוריאה? המארגנים, המשחקים, האוכל, החדרים וכו'...
walle: קוריאה נהדרת. אנחנו שוהים במלון שבו החדרים הם כמו דירות. יש לנו חדר אימונים בקומה אחת ושני חדרי שינה בקומה אחרת עם מטבח, מכונת כביסה וכל מה שבעצם צריך בשביל לשהות במקום לזמן ממושך. אני ישן בחדר עם ins ו - zet ואילו ל- potti ו - Heaton יש חדר נפרד. אבל זה מתאזן כי לנו יש את האמבטיה ולהם לא :P
יש לנו סופר במלון שזה נחמד.
האוכל בקוריאה גם הוא מצויין. ברביקיו קוריאני הוא ממש טוב וכמובן יש את הדברים הרגילים כמו בורגר קינג, מקדונלדס, סאבווי או שאפשר פשוט לקניות אטריות בסופר.
איזור התחרות גם הוא מעולה. הוא הטוב ביותר שהייתי בו עד עכשיו וזה מגניב שהמשחקים משודרים בטלויזיה. אנחנו אוהבים לראות את המשחקים שלנו בשידורים החוזרים שיש אחרי זה.

Ender: קבוצת NiP השיגה את הכרטיס לבייג'נג וזאת מבלי להפסיד אף משחק בדרך. כיצד לדעתך עשיתם את זה? שתף אותנו בסוד :)
walle: שיחקנו הרבה וניסינו לשפר כל פגם קודם שהיה במשחק שלנו וזה פשוט עבד מצויין. אין ממש סוד בזה, פשוט שיחקנו הרבה ואנחנו מתחילים לתפוס את המשחק המשותף שלנו בפשטות. אנחנו גם נהנים הרבה ביחד מחוץ למשחק, שזה ממש חשוב בשביל קבוצה כי ככה אנחנו נהנים לשחק ולהשתפר ביחד.

Ender: יום בחייו של גיימר בזמן שהוא משתתף ב - WEG בקוריאה :) ספר לי על יום טיפוסי כזה.
walle: אנחנו בדרך כלל מתעוררים די מאוחר, משהו כמו 16:00-18:00 וישר מתיישבים על המחשבים. בדרך כלל עוברים על איזה מפה ואז משחקים שני משחקי אימון או יותר. בדרך כלל אנחנו מסיימים בערך ב - 12 או מאוחר יותר ואז כל אחד עושה מה שמתחשק לו. potti משחק פוקר ואני בטח גם ישחק. או שאני Ins ו - zet נשחק קצת dota או שנצפה בכמה סדרות :P. כשאנחנו לא מתאמנים אנחנו ישנים לפעמים אפילו יותר מאוחר ורק מסתלבטים כל היום או שיוצאים לאכול איזה ברקביקיו קוריאני.

Ender: כיצד אתה ושאר הקבוצה מתכוננים למשחקי הגמר?
walle: כמו שעשינו בכל משחק. אנחנו נתאמן המון ונעבור על כל המפות.

Ender: מה השלב הבא בשביל NiP אחרי WEG?
walle: הולכים לאליפות החורף של CPL.

Ender: היתה לך...המממ...בוא נקרא לזה בעיה עם הנהלת WEG בגלל העובדה שלא השתתפת בעונה השנייה של WEG ונתת הודעה בזמן קצר לפני פתיחת העונה. היתה בעיה "להכניס" אותך הפעם?
walle: זאת היתה שמועה שנופחה.

Ender: באותו נושא, מה המצב המצב המשפטי בינך לבין mTw?
walle: אין תגובה :O

Ender: נעבור לנושאים שמחים יותר...נבחרת כאחד השחקנים הטובים ביותר עם AWP בשבדיה על ידי fragbite. כמה טיפים לצלף הצעיר?
walle: להיות צלף זה אך ורק אימון טהור. על מנת להיות במצב טוב עם AWP עליך לשחק הרבה. טיפים לשיפור הצליפה הוא לשחק במפות aim נגד בוטים, רק להתאמן על זומים/בלי זומים ו - dragshots. אחר כך ליישם את זה במשחקים/מיקסים/אימונים על מנת להתרגל לסביבת משחק. זה שאתה יורה טוב מול בוטים לא אומר שתצלוף במשחקים. אתה חייב להתאמן על בשניהם.

Ender: אתה משחק ב - NiP כ - 6 חודשים. במספר מילים תאר איך זה לשחק בארגון כזה.
walle: אני מרגיש טוב מאד בקשר ל - NiP, אני אוהב את הקבוצה, אנחנו עושים כיף והארגון נהדר אף הוא. בחורים נהדרים ובמקביל גם מקצועיים, השילוב המושלם!

- אם חברת VALVE היתה מחליטה להסיר נשק אחד מהמשחק איזה היית מעדיף שזה יהיה? חהחה, לא יודע...glock? :) למרות שזה אחד הנשקים המועדפים עלי :P
